The UAB track and field team continues its indoor schedule Wednesday when the Blazers take part in the Samford Stand Alone Multi from the Birmingham Crossplex.

Graduate student Lucy Crookes put the exclamation mark on a solid day of competition for the UAB track and field team as the distance runner won the mile event Saturday at the Vulcan Invitational from the Birmingham Crossplex.

Freshman Zieandrea Bridges set a school record in the shot to highlight competition for UAB on Friday at the UAB Blazer Invitational from the Birmingham Crossplex.

The UAB track and field team continues its indoor schedule this weekend when the Blazers host the UAB Blazer Invitational on Friday and the UAB Vulcan Invitational on Saturday. Both meets will take place downtown at the Birmingham Crossplex.

Track and field phenom Candace Hill will make her professional debut Saturday at the UAB Vulcan Invite from the Birmingham Crossplex.
