For the second consecutive week, Alabama State freshman Shamia Jones (Albany, Ga.) was named the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) women's cross country runner of the week.
Alabama State freshman, and reigning Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) Runner of the Week, Shamia Jones (Albany, Ga.) won her first collegiate race Friday morning at the Falcon Classic.
Alabama State returns to action Friday morning at the Falcon Classic hosted by Montevallo at 9 am, and it will be the third consecutive meet for the Hornets.
